And Now For the Eating Area

We have been waiting to get this finished for a while. Had the end walls made from limestone sitting and drying;-) for about 18months. The doors are west aussie jarrah and mini orb steel. Nice big cupboards to hold all of the bits that will be used outside. The top is glossed plywood with a jarrah edge. Looks the goods and will allow us to do more outside and leave the house more often. May never need to go back inside.
Hot and cold water to a double sink.Plumbing will be finished next week and blinds are being sought to keep wind out in winter and to shade area in summer. Ano might need that!

Flags Are Flutterin'....Brollies Are Blazing

I have a worried brother in Bali.

He wants to see the flags and umbrellas...so here they are!
He's not a bad fella really. (Need to say that so I can go back and stay over with them at Christmas for a month!! Yippee!)
Don't you love the way my pine trees are growing as a natural set of AFL goalposts???
And of course he shouldn't grizzle...he does live in paradise. Have a look at his site. Links from mine....

The brollies were brought back with us from Bali after our recent trip there. The flags I must admit came from EBay;-)

It's Been a While!

It has certainly been a while since I put anything on here. The pool is done and swum in...though it's damn cold. I had a swim the other day and the water was 15C. Those who know me well know that I don't mind the cold and suffer in the heat but even for me that is COLD!
We had a wonderful trip to Bali recently (speaking of heat) and will go back for a month over Christmas.
Great place! Check Ano's Blog in my links area.
I have been adding to the gardens at home ever since we got back to "Balify" them a bit. You know...the odd statue, bali flag, umbrella, etc. This area is a work in progress. Nearly finished and should be a nice place for a sit and think when done.

And Something To Drag It With

Aaahh! What's a boat without an official tow vehicle? Very comfy, drags it a treat and has that distinctive purr of a LandRover V8.
Works for Me!!

And Now Something To Float in It

The onset of yet another birthday has made me wonder, do I wait or should I go now??
Answer of course, do it now!!!
